Witty one-liner goes here
Sunday, February 17, 2019: This week's challenge is to make a matching set! I decided to go with this because I have some mommy & me strikes I want to sew up AND I just finished a men's test, which allowed me the ability to incorporate our son into some of the photos. I'll probably post a few different sets of pics this week...maybe even throw in a sibling set before the week is out. Who doesn't love matchy-matchy??! Stay tuned...
Tuesday, February 19, 2019: I finished up one mommy & me set tonight using beautiful Ava DBP from Stitchin' Pretties! I wasn't 100% sure on vertical stripes because I thought they'd look odd, but I made a Breezy Peplum for myself, and a Sailor Peplum for my daughter (both from Ellie and Mac) and I believe they turned out really cute. The style of the tops really complement the stripes on the fabric.
I'm really loving this first matching set! So flattering!
Sunday, February 24, 2019: I meant to post this back on Thursday, but time slipped away from me. I had the pleasure of testing my first ever Annelain Pattern, the Men's Sawyer shirt, which was technically last week, but I'll include the photos this week, since the pattern just released a few nights ago. I adore seeing my two sweet guys in stuff I've made. My son keeps saying how he wants to "look like daddy." He really loves matching with other family members. Matching sets forever!!
This was another fun week. I did actually get the chance to photograph a sibling set today, but realized I can't publish it yet since the fabric has not been put on preorder yet. Soon enough, though. Soon enough. Now, I have to decide this week's challenge. I'll have that post up tomorrow!
