Witty one-liner goes here

Sunday, April 28, 2019: This week's challenge is going to be ruffles. I don't have anything in particular in mind, I'd just like to try my hand at some, as I don't usually make many frilly or ruffly things for my daughter. I've got a couple patterns in mind, and plan to use some adorable woven I got from Hobby Lobby. Wait and see what's next...

Wednesday, May 1, 2019:

Look at these adorbs fabrics together. Ruffles are coming along nicely....

Sunday, May 5, 2019: Dress is complete. I mostly finished it yesterday, just needed to close up the elastic holes this morning and snap a pic outside, as indoors was affecting the color of the fabrics. I really love this style dress, but it's a bit juvenile for my daughter. I made it in 18-24m...I'll find someone to give it to eventually. 😜

As a side note, I was pretty excited to find out that my old machine was the reason why I "didn't do wovens." They never came out right, my straight stitches didn't hold together tightly. That machine has some serious tension issues...I'm so glad to have been able to get a new one last month. Can't wait to press in on more woven fabrics in the future. Bring 'em on!!
