Witty one-liner goes here
Monday, April 22, 2019: Hi friends! This week's challenge is going to be "black." I currently have NO clue what's on the agenda for the week, so this one feels like an easy one that I can work into whatever project I have. I'm using today to mostly clean and get my house and sewing space back in shape, so I'll probably give this project a little more thought in the evening when I'm done.
Also, I've gotten behind in posting on IG, so if you were following the challenge there, my bad. I hope to get that all caught up to speed again with my graphics this evening or tomorrow. The fact that I can't keep up with all aspects of this challenge is funny to me. It started out as a push to get me sewing weekly. Since the end of last year, though, I've been sewing almost everyday. So, while I'm sewing weekly, my sews don't always match up with a challenge word. This results in me skipping some weeks because I'm too busy with promo or family sewing to complete the sew of the week specific to the challenge word. So frustrating. SMH. Anywho, I have plans to start cutting back a little on the promo sewing, so maybe that will free up some more time to dedidate to my personal sewing goals. Or...as always happens, something else will pop up, haha.
Be back soon, y'all!
Sunday, April 28, 2019: I'm technically behind in posting, but challenge was done on time. Instagram can prove it haha. My husband had done some behind the scenes changes on my blog and I misunderstood him, so was waiting to learn new steps for pushing up changes...didn't need to after all 😒. Anywho, I actually sewed a few "black" items this week: a hoodie and some G tube pads from some strikes from Rockerybye Destash for my nephew, a new shirt for myself, as well as one for my husband (also with RBD fabric).
We've both got some new favs (bamboo lycra is DIVINE) and I was super happy to be able to gift my nephew with some new things.
